Context

The strategic thesis

Studio 116 represents experimental sculptors and architectural researchers. Arca engineered a spatial digital experience that allows curators and collectors worldwide to inspect monolithic maquettes with real-time raytraced lighting.

The Core Challenge

Traditional web gallery portfolios are static and flat, failing to convey the physical scale, surface grain, and volume of three-dimensional architectural works.

System Solution

We designed and coded a lightweight Three.js WebGL spatial engine running at 60fps across mobile and desktop. Curators can scrub diurnal lighting angles from dawn to dusk across virtual gallery pedestals.
